Episode 2 slumbering dragon
Sum and Bigg stared at the flying saucer embedded into the ground. The saucer was still glowing red from the heat, both did not rush to open the craft.
"What do we do?" Sum asked "there could be someone or something in there."
Bigg growled before taking a step forward, there was no way they could take this back with them, but they couldn't leave it out here. Not for Professor Maker to take and use. Thinking about it seriously, Bigg had no choice but to call this one in.
Bigg went into his hoodie and pulled out a communicator. He pressed a singular button and immediately spoke into the receiver.
"This is Bigg Brown Bear Kaiser, I'm requesting an aerial evacuation."
The communicator buzzed before someone on the other end replied.
"Bigg, you better have a good reason for calling for an evacuation. We don't have too many aircrafts to send out for two rebels."
Bigg looked at Sum and then at the flying saucer, he then sighed and said
"You're probably going to want to bring the big aircraft, one with a tow."
"What? Why?" The communicator asked
"You're would not believe me if I told you, send someone out with a big aircraft please."
The person on the other end of the communicator sighed.
"Please hold, I just need to lock in on your coordinates."
Sum and Bigg waited by the flying saucer, many of the bodies of the metal beasts were absolutely scorched from the impact of the flying saucer's crash. So Sum and Bigg decided they wouldn't mind if they sat on their bodies while they played a card game.
"I win again!" Sum declared proudly for the fifth time.
"Your deck is too OP." Bigg states before a shadow blocks out their sun.
Sum reaches for a shuriken
"Is it Professor Maker?" He shouts over the sound of the aircraft engines.
Bigg squints and sees the emblem of the rebels, the silhouette of a dove holding a flower.
"No, it's for us." Bigg says as the bay doors of the large aircraft open, various rebels half human, and half anthros rappel down from the aircraft. They looked over the crash site and gasped.
One last rebel, this one a high ranking leader jumps down and lands inches away from from Sum and Bigg.
She was a fox, in every sense of the word plus she was also a fox. Captain Foxx, one of the heroes of the rebellion.
She whistles at the flying saucer that had finally cooled down.
"So you guys weren't kidding when you said that you needed a tow. What are the chances that we're fighting a war for the very fate of our planet and a flying saucer lands near our worst recon units ever?"
She approaches the saucer
"It must be made up of some incredible materials that are not even from our world. Imagine the weapons."
Bigg clears his throat
Captain Foxx turns her head towards him
"Yes?" She asks
"There's a chance that there could be someone kr something in there. If memory serves, Flying Saucers usually have pilots."
He looks over the flying saucer
"Even the small ones."
Foxx thinks this over before sighing
"I see your logic Bigg, it would probably be best if we asked for help from the people from the stars. Instead of robbing them blind."
"That would be wise." Bigg replied
"Alright boys let's pack up everything here, leave no trace of anything."
The rebels agree and start loading the ruined dune buggy, a few metal beasts, and the flying saucer onto the aircraft. Bigg and Sum boarded the aircraft with Captain Foxx.
"Take us out of here." She told the pilots
The aircraft engines hummed to life before carrying everyone and everything out of the crash site.
Unaware of the fact they were being watched by a spy drone.
A small robot, the size and shape of a mouse was watching everything unfold, and it was broadcasting everything to its master.
Several miles away far away from the crash site, even further away from the Emerald Valley, in a land utterly cloaked in darkness residing in the second layer of the planet.
Here a kingdom of Iron, Concrete, and silicon resides. This land is known as the shadow lands, here the metal kingdom resides. With its king, the man responsible for this war.
Professor Maker.
Professor Maker was a giant, he was a giant in size, stature, but most of all intelligence.
"Master, we have a feed coming through from unit 01." A robot announced
"Patch it in." Professor Maker rumbled.
A holographic screen projected in front of his throne, playing the footage of the rebels carrying away the flying saucer.
"Master what should we do?" Another robot asks
Professor Maker was silent for a long period.
"Have our spies keep a close eye on the rebels, I want to know what's in that flying saucer." He states.
"Right away master." The second robot replies before bowing out.
"This war just got interesting."
The aircraft carried the rebels far away, to a large island. This was Southwest Island, here the biggest tree in the world resides. Not quite the world tree, that was destroyed thousands of years ago.
This was tha Gaian oak, the second biggest tree of the planet. Within its great branches held the biggest city in the world.
Tree City, home of the rebellion.
Many civilians looked in awe as the aircraft known as "The Spear of Destiny" flew over the lush green city as it made its way back to its secret base deep within the branches of the great tree.
A piercing white light illuminated the flying saucer, its perfect silver fuselage reflected the light off its circular body. It stood perfectly in the middle of the hanger as every technician, engineer, amd scientists stood dumbfounded.
There was absolutely no way to open the flying saucer. They tried using saws, torches, and even a plasma cutter to get it open. Absolutely nothing made a scratch on it.
Captain Fox stood with many high ranking rebels, and they were just as confused as the scientists.
"It's a flying saucer." One of then commented
"It sure is." Captain fox replied "it would seem nothing we can do can scratch it, it had no ports for us to hack, we can't even hack it with wi-fi."
"So it's utterly invincible." A new voice piped up
Captain Foxx turned to see general Falcone, a tall beautiful woman with snow white hair. Stepped forward, her heels clicking on the floor.
"So what's our next best idea?" She asks
"Well if all else fails we could blow it up." A demolition expert suggests, if we can't use it. Professor Maker shouldn't either.
"I got my best girls preparing the dynamite."
General Falcone sighs
"Not the black cat sisters." She sighed
"Precisely."
Falcone groaned and pinched the bridge of her nose.
"I really don't like those two, they're so quick to go in everywhere loud and concussive."
"They're our best heavy assault fighters." Another captain says
"What if we think outside the box?" A new voice piped up
Falcone turned to see another beautiful woman, this one in a long flowing blue gown and long wavy blue hair.
"Priestess Gaia!" Falcone gasped she bowed before her.
"Rise general, there is no need for such formalities."
"Forgive us priestess, it's just... with this war and this flying saucer we thought we'd try to get an edge over Professor Maker."
Gaia shakes her head
"My child, haven't I taught you anything on trying to see things from a different perspective?"
"If one method doesn't work, try another."
"My priestess, we've tried just about everything but we still can't get the flying saucer to open." Falcone replies
Gaia thinks about this before she comes up with an idea.
"Do you mind if I have a look at it?" She asks an engineer.
"Go for it!" He replies before leading Gaia down to a service elevator.
Gaia's bare feet touched the cold concrete floor of the hanger. All were silent as she approached the flying saucer, everyone watched as she raised her hand and gently knocked on the flying saucer.
There was silence before something remarkable happened, the flying saucer opened. A bright white light filled the hanger before a tube slid out of the flying saucer.
"Oh my another puzzle." Gaia chuckled
She gently knocked on the tube, which caused it to hiss as air escaped from a crack on the side of the tube.
The tube opens filling the room with a gas that quickly dissipated revealing a life form.
"It's a dragon!" Falcone gasped
Gaia chuckled
"No my child, this is not a dragon. But I do believe that this one can help us."
Gaia stood over a small red T-rex lying peacefully in a tube on the floor of the hanger.
"It seems you've traveled very far little one, I'm afraid it's time to wake up."
The T-rex stirred in the tube before opening his eyes.
